Dear God

 

I'm currently working on one of my favorite paintings of all times. My grandmother May who raised me up, who bathed me in splendor and fed me complete love before I could even utter a single word.  She's my point of reference to the spirit of womanhood, the essence of motherhood with all her glorious abundance and wholesomeness. I sing praise to women who give love abundantly and selflessly to children everywhere. They are our angels. With these words I express my gratitude eternally;

 

"O woman! lovely woman! Nature made thee

To temper man: we had been brutes without you.

Angels are painted fair, to look like you:

There’s in you all that we believe of heaven,—

Amazing brightness, purity, and truth,

Eternal joy, and everlasting love."

I see women as these powerful mighty beings who rule the world through their tenderness when they move from the core of their being. This is what my grandmother demonstrated. All her children praise her endlessly, they say she's their role model. Now that's just got to be phenomenal when we all know that mother---daughter relationships can be very challenging for some and she had four daughters. My granny taught my grandfather how to sign his name because he had no education whatsoever. I often wonder about her people since she demonstrated power of the highest degree by being completely loving and humble. Two of her educated daughters once couldn't communicate with the medical doctors when she was ill. My granny was so annoyed she gave the doctors a thorough report about her well being. (Ha ha ha!)

They laugh about the incident. A teacher and a nurse couldn't communicate thoroughly with medical doctors! Ha! Its so funny)

 

In 2011 when President Barack Obama was interviewed by Oprah he said;

 

" Nobody knows how to connect better than you do,"

 

You're a blessing Oprah! A gift to humanity. God wanted to show us how much he loves us by creating you and all beings who are defined by the power of love in thought, word and deed. This poem by Audrey Hepburn could have been written for you, Gayle King my granny, Ma Angelou, Ma Joseph, Ma Ngoyi, Ma Tambo, Ma Sisulu, Ma Dunham, Lady Diana and women everywhere who are leaders in matters of the heart. I'm laughing from cheer joy and pure delight because, you make me so happy. Mothers of Nations! Oprah could have been describing you too when she says;

 

"The common denominator in the human experience is that everybody wants approval, or just to be appreciated. My best friend Gayle responds to that need better than anybody I've ever met, seen, heard or read about."

 

In an interview with Barbara Walters Oprah describes her best friend;

 

"She’s the mother I never had. The sister everybody would want. The friend everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person. It’s making me cry because I’m thinking how much I probably never told her that. We’re not like, ‘Oh, you, you’re my dearest friend … thanks.’ The therapy I didn’t have and don’t need is because of my thousands and thousands of hours on the phone with Gayle. I get to release the day by talking it through. And I just realized she’s the friend everybody should have."

 

THE POEM

 

"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,

the figure that she carries,

or the way she combs her hair.

Being connected is one of the greatest gifts that one can share with others. Its presenting oneself wholly to the present moment. This is how the students of Soweto in 1976 were able to win victory over the vicious apartheid system which sought to make them slaves of the minority rule and paralyze them for life. These students were connected to the core, they spoke one language with one voice, united in speech and action.

 

Nelson Mandela smuggled this message upon hearing about the June 16 uprising which said;

 

"We who are confined within the grey walls of the Pretoria Regime's prisons reach out to our people. With you we count those who have perished by means of the gun and hangman's rope. We salute all of you- the living, the injured and the dead. For you have dared to rise up against the tyrant's might...

 

We face the future with confidence. For the guns that serve apartheid cannot render it unconquerable. Those who live by the gun shall perish by the gun.

 

Unite! Mobilise! Fight on!

 

Between the anvil of united mass action and the hammer of the armed struggle we shall crush apartheid and white minority racist rule.

 

Amandla ngawethu! Matla ke a rona!"

 

I wrote a powerful letter to Archbishop Desmond Tutu for you President Barack Obama in August 2012. I wanted you to know that you are the hope and the dream for women who are discriminated against all over the world. I wanted you to know that we are behind you. We support you, therefore no power on the face of the earth would prevent you from winning that presidential race again and again and again.

 

Chief Albert Luthuli must have been one of the people who wanted you to receive that letter from me. He once said;

"When woman begin to take an active part in the struggle. No weapon on earth can stop us from achieving freedom in our life time."

 

I know that today he is greatly disappointed and saddened by those women who have become oppressors just like the architects of apartheid.

 

I scribed that letter during a very dark period in my life. However, I  felt power rising within me thus I was compelled to do as I was called propelled by a power beyond myself. Listening to Valerie Jared's interview yesterday reminded me of the very reasons that God decided to use me as scribe who would deliver significant messages at the right time. When I wrote that letter to Archbishop Tutu for you Mr President, I felt redeemed since I had asked him in person as well. I knew that even if you don't receive it, an upper hand was at work performing miracles because that is what God does when He commissions.

 

So Valerie Jarrett speaks for women everywhere when she says;

 

""There is a responsible role for government here, even though it is against the law to discriminate based on gender, it happens all the time. And so government's role is to provide those women who are being discriminated against the tools that they need to make sure that they get equal pay."

 

This morning as I wrote on my facebook time line;

(Women like Valerie Jarrett remind me of the women of Africa who were uneducated but, when they prayed, God answered immediately. They prayed for rain, heavens poured down rain endlessly. They fed their children, took care of their communities, loved all.

Dr King appears on tv reciting;

 

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

  

I know for sure that, that letter to Pres Obama would have filled Dr King with pride and joy since he believes deeply that;

 

"We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality tied into a single garment of destiny."

 

In Ghana President Obama said;

 

"This is the simple truth of a time when the boundaries between people are overwhelmed by our connections. Your prosperity can expand America's prosperity. Your health and security can contribute to the world's health and security. And the strength of your democracy can help advance human rights for people everywhere."

 

Why do I keep scribing away these messages to you?

I'm here to celebrate your lives because you are crowns of beauty in the Hands and of the Most High. Because I love you completely and entirely. Because you are children of the Most High God therefore you are empowered to do anything you are called to do! You are the art of his tender loving hands therefore by virtue of being you deserve the very best. Never ever settle for less for it is ungodly to do so. I write because I know you have many challenges that you have to deal with every single day. From abusive homes to unemployment to discrimination in your places of work to being homeless and feeling helpless. At some point in our lives we all have challenges to overcome. However, one must never ever give up because breakthroughs happen when you feel you've given your all. Suddenly the God within you empowers you and orders your steps to the door that God has opened before you which no man can close. Use your power to create change because the future of this country, the future of this world is in our hands.

 

"No person wants to live in a society where the rule of law gives way to the rule of brutality and bribery. That is not democracy, that is tyranny, even if occasionally you sprinkle an election in there. And now is the time for that style of governance to end. President Barack Obama.

 

As you go your own way I invite you to sing with me one of Bob Marley's songs;

This song reminds of you Grandfather Mandela. You once said;

 

"Gandhi himself never ruled out violence absolutely and unreservedly. He conceded the necessity of arms in certain situations. He said, "Where choice is set between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence ... I prefer to use arms in defense of honor rather than remain the vile witness of dishonor..."

 

My hope is that you embrace who you are completely. Never be someone else! It doesn't glorify God. Stealing someone else's identity when you have your own simply means that you are self loathing and you feel unworthy. I've seen many high profile people who presented my work as their own but, they were utterly ridiculed on National tv! Now that's the law of cause and effect. The messenger speaks wholesomeness to humanity because God blessed and anointed her. Nothing and noone can change that! Foolishness makes me laugh, my eyes are watering. They encountered my work because it was God's devine plan for it to be shared for his specific mission. But I've also experienced God's magical power, serendipity and bliss when God presented me and some of the people I completely love with the same tone of speech, same voice, same energy, same transformative idea at the very same hour. Synergy right! Most of all, the power of true love is always insync. Twinkle twinkle, *wink* *wink* ear to ear hearty smile!

 

This morning I heard a sermon on the radio. The pastor said;

 

"The greatest shame is when somebody tries to steal someone else's grace"

 

I'd say you have a treasure within you which will bless human kind. Heal your insecurities, be in touch with you and realize that you alone are enough. Being driven by lousy jealousies will only destroy you.

 

Norman Vincent Peale says,

"Do not be awe struck by other people and try to copy them. Nobody can be you as efficiently as you can."

 

Someday when you have lived from the core, you will be amongst the people chanting this beautiful passage by President Obama;

 

"Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations."

 

It was 10 years ago that I decided to respond to the heavenly call about the special task I was created to perform. I celebrate the years I've invested in serving humanity without being payed a penny. Celebrating Abe's 150th Gettysburg Address is a reward I never ever expected in my wildest dreams. I was treated like Royalty. Big Smile :-) Abe has always walked silently by my side. What more could I ask for? Ten years ago I wasn't really aware of how profoundly God intended to use me. I just found myself walking the earth with the intention of healing anyone I encountered who needed my help. Young and old, they all reacted the same way, jumped up and down because they felt the love and power of the Living God. When doctors couldn't do much for my mother after she was in a car accident, I healed her through prayer and the touch of my hand. I layed my hand on a man who dependent on a hearing aide to hear and a women who wasn't born deaf but lost her ability to hear as time went by. The man put the hearing aide in his pocket and walked home a different person. This is God's power right! I include my mother here as a witness to the power, might and spirit of the Most High God. I've healed people over the phone whom I would call only to find out they are in pain. I've gone to children's hospitals as well as hospitals for grown ups to help in the process of healing while doctors did all that was in their power to heal the sick but, still, needed devine intervention. The doctors would recognize that a miracle happened. As a healer and one who believes in social justice  and equality for aIl, I will always support Obama Health Care.

 

I once healed a woman who was addicted to alcohol. So she promised she wouldn't drink again, she was surprised that God would heal her through prayer and a simple touch. So one day we met again and I could see she was drunk.

 

Aunt Marie how are you?

She pretends not to know me!

Aw Aunt Marie, then she pretends to remember me again. Before I could say anything she says;

 

"What kind of a sister are you in such short shorts?"

 

I just laughed and walked away because I knew she was embarrassed about being drunk again after she promised she would quit drinking.

 

Once I had a part time job at the mall. The entire mall turned into my place of healing and ministry. My boss and the girls I worked with were too astounded to mind me healing the people instead of doing what I'm payed do to. The energy that was in that mall was electrifying. It was a miracle spot of sacredness. I've even healed a dog that is overseas through prayer.

 

What do we say Oprah?

"Let the power come. Let ecstasy erupt. Allow your heart to expand and overflow with adoration for this magnificent creation and for the love, wisdom and power that birthed it all. Rapture is needed now---rapture, reverence and grace." Ann Mortifee

 

Thank You Lord, you who hold all things in the Palms of your tender loving hands. Praise and Glory to you forever more. Worthy is The Majestic King who sits enthroned for all time to come. If you ever denied me of my God given rights and you've taken from me what is rightfully mine as it so happens in South Africa and other countries around the world, I feel nothing but sympathy for you. All is well in the flow of His Universal Devine Order. You are the deciding factor of how you'll be stopped and moved out of the way because His Flow will continue uninterruptedly. For now you may suit yourself but what I know for sure as told by the sacred scripture is that I am the light of the world! I am the salt of the earth.
