"There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than in the way in which it treats its children!!!"
--- President Nelson Mandela.
Grandfather Mandela, I can't forget the day we met. The first time was when I was merely 17 years old when you came to our home in Cradock. We had traveled from our new home in Cape Town, where we relocated after our father passed on. You greeted everyone, shaking hands but when you came to me you stopped. You smiled and there was that special thing in your eyes, they beamed and danced with joy. You stopped and spoke to me. Everyone was shocked and so curious. I was in paradise. Your last words to me were, YOU BEAUTIFUL BABALWA! Who can ever forget that devine connection? The same thing happened again at the Waterfront in a meeting that was orchestrated by God. God it seems wasn't going to rest untill we crossed paths again and again. This time I was with my friends, security wouldn't let us come close, but they smiled when they saw me and opened the way for me to talk to my President! My friends stood there dumbfounded, awe struck and fascinated all at once. They shook my hand, the one that was in the palm of yours! My spirit is delighted to no end as I write to you grandfather. Laughter escapes me from pure joy. You our heart's desire grandfather the world over and I send this love to you, buckets upon buckets of pure love, all for you!:-)
Mother was so brave, she drove from Oudtshoorn to Cape Town where she decided to fulfill the dreams that she and father dreamt together. They had enrolled and were about to further their studies, so University of Cape Town became our home for a couple of years till mother graduated and we decided to stay for good in Cape Town. Our Mother was young and brave beyond measure. Her very own mother was a rock which couldn't be moved, she was taught well, thus she could STAND! Its amazing and these are the woman who's strength has emboldened me. I'm eternally grateful!
Its been quite a journey for all of us. I never thought that we'd have to look for help outside our country as young people of this country(like our ancestors did during apartheid). Our leaders have failed us and they confess with their own mouths that they have failed us.
We are competent and brilliant, looking to contribute to the world and leave behind a better world for future generations. We look forward to forging strong ties, and creating partnerships that will yield much fruit. We are not looking for charity.
The book of Saint Matthew clearly stipulates that;
"This is war, and there is no neutral ground. if you are not helping, you are making things worse!"
Thank You for your brilliant leadership, Grandfather Mandela. Leadership whose trademark is pure and devine. Leadership borne of love.
Dear Grandfather Mandela
"Only one principle will give you courage, that is the principle that no evil lasts forever nor indeed for very long." Epicurus
Every second of the day
You've been with me
Taking care of my every need and heart's desire
Needs known to me
Needs not known to me
It is hard to describe what I feel in my heart right now
Except to thank you for the love you continue to bestowed upon me!
The kind that eclipses anything one ever thought possible
The kind that eclipses the throes of all things deemed impossible
I can't separate this love from the love of my very own grandparents who loved me so deeply
You continue to be one of the greatest champions of human rights
You continue to exhibit ubuntu with the greatest passion
So rare and almost intangible to unbelievers
Every time somebody hurt me
You turned around, looked at me with the kind of love that lifts you up
To greater heights
No words spoken
All words have already been spoken
Thus they continue to do their job
They echoe voluntarily
As perfect reminders for all time to come
Because they were sent as guardian angels for humanity
Since time immemorial
Your gentle gaze continues to speak in volumes
It soothes me
My gentle counselor;
True and absolute!
"I cannot and will not give any undertaking at a time when I, and you, the people, are not free.
Your freedom and mine cannot be separated." Grandfather Mandela

I know your arms were wide open as you waited at heaven's gate to give a warm welcome to Maya Angelou reciting Femme Noir for her on my behalf.
Our super fine Rock Star
She moved in unison with the pulse of Greater Love
Shared by all

"Welcome Home our Beloved Sister!"
All of us can see that face
The face that beamed with the sunrays of love for humanity, planet earth and all of God's creation at large!
I feel relieved and happy knowing that she's in the company of great spirits
United with her beloved granny whom she spoke about when she celebrated her last birthday in the physical

The Lord is my shepherd
I don't need a thing
You've bedded me down in lush meadows
You find me quiet pools to drink from
True to your word,
You let me catch my breadth
And send me in the right direction. Psalms
I behold thee in my tender hands
And heal you with all the healing powers vested in me by God almighty.
I heal thee and all our beloved ones
Who payed a huge price so that generation could live in freedom
Generations could do what they have been called to do by their creator
Isn't this what Christ did for the human race?
They were called terrorist
Today I tell you
They were Christ like
I minister to your soul and spirit like
Sojourner Truth who ministered to the colored troops upon hearing that
The Emancipation Proclamation declared that all slaves in the confederate state were
I can see her with my mind's eyes
I can hear her exultation coming from the depth of her soul and spirit
Filling up space frankincense
"Behold the Shackles Fall
This is a great and glorious day!
It is good to live in it & behold the shackles fall from the manacled limbs. Oh if I were ten years younger I would go down with these soldiers here & be the Mother of the Regiment!"
Today we celebrate the bravery, deep seated love and unwavering compassion of
President Barack Obama
Who values human life, freedom and dignity for all
We gasped, sighed in relief and watched in awe as we saw him on tv with Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl's parents who waited five years to hear the good news that their son was finally coming home.
The message remains unchanged
Echoed from the passage of time;
"No Man Left Behind"
It is written that the sergeant was Taliban's only American prisoner of war.
'We're committed to winding down in Afghanistan and Guantanamo, but we are also committed to bringing home American prisoners of war,'
Every time we witness someone becoming Christ like,
Driven by the power of a conviction
Raw with passion
Above all driven by love
We all rise
We are inspired to be christ like too
Isn't this the purpose of human existence?
We remember that;
"If slavery is not wrong,
Nothing is wrong!" Abraham Lincoln
We know that in many parts of the world slavery still exist
Slavery still exist in the heart and soul of well meaning human beings
And you know them
True change begins in the heart
The question is
What are you doing in your own life to free yourself thus your brethren?
Maya Angelou's mission was to liberate the human mind and she excelled
So where to from here?
"Love thy neighbor as you love thyself!"
We also know that it easier to love thy neighbor whilst oppressing and discriminating against your very own children, whom you say lied side by side in your very own womb.
So where does discrimination truly begin?
Who are the people who promote oppression?
Why fight it out there when you live with it much much closer?
In your very own being!
In your jobs you say you fighting for equal rights and opportunities for all yet in your own homes and behind closed doors,
you truly no different from Hitler!
These double standards continue to tear down nations!
Nations continue to suffer from poverty of the mind
True wisdom begins with honoring God!
I urge you to rise whenever they break you down!
They did it to Walter Sisulu, to Oliver Tambo, to Walter Sisulu and many others who stood erect and continued to shine and flourish in the face of unimaginable circumstances.
They had God on their side. They also believed in Maya Angelou's words that ;
"Making a living is not the same thing as making a life."
When you know this your life illuminates, because you purpose driven and your uplift by mere virtue of being alive!
I may still be in my 30'S, but I've lived fully and even if I die today my work will continue to bring forth blessings and fruits that overtake the reaper!
The reaper are the poorest of the poor amongst these who's lives are used to advance the lives of man and women who want to enrich themselves! My work will save the lives of girls who continue to suffer dearly! This is simply what I've been doing since I was babe!
"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."
Robert F. Kennedy
Hoping that God will bless you with unspeakable joy and a double portion for all the pain you suffered on earth grandfather Mandela and all our dearest beloveds.
May God Bless Your Soul eternally. May He bestow upon your lives splendor, peace and glory that has never ever been witnessed by mankind before.
Splendor within you
Splendor all around you
Peace within you
Peace all around you
Not as the world gives it
But peace from the Throne of God
I know in your heavenly sermons Grandfather Mandela you are testifying that
God ordered his angels to guard me wherever I went
When I stumbled
They caught me
Their job was to keep me from falling.
How great is thy love
I love you all with a love so deep and wide, its endless
Many waters cannot quench love;
rivers cannot sweep it away (song of songs)
Its like a fountain who's water never ever run dry
A stream that is constantly overflowing with goodness, kindness and wholesomeness
I can see your smile grandfather Mandela,
And we all smile attracted to that magnet of love
The unifier of the human race
The magnet that cherished all people
That loved all people
Making all of us shine as the dearest beloved children of the Most High
I see angels smile too, lighting up space,
Lighting up this universal space,
In celebration of universal salvation eternally
Thank You All So Much.
May God continue to bless us,
May God continue to protect us and fill our hearts to the brim with tender love.
Hearty, hearty smiles to all of us forever more.
Surely the Grace of God is upon our lives for all time to come,
Because we are his chosen race for all time to come.
We are the human race
Favored before conception
That's enough to make me :-)
Smiley smiley smiley
Ear to ear hearty hearty hearty smiles forever more.
Blessed is the man
Who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
Or stand in the way of sinners
Or sit in the seat of mockers
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in season
And who's leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers (Psalms)
I see your great works
I see your good deeds
I feel the truth and beauty in your words
My eyes are here and beyond
Someday I will have an opportunity to thank you much more than I have already thanked you.
Even in my quite moments when you think I don't see what you continue to do, I see clearly
I bless you continuously
I'm unceasing in prayer
Your children are before me in prayer always
You are safe
In God's everlasting arms.
"Your Freedom and mine cannot be separated. I will return." Khulu Mandela
In February 1985 Zindzi Mandela read a speech- a response to Botha's offer of conditional release- on behalf of her father to a packed Jabulani stadium in Soweto.
