LOVE

Love!

Does it really take a village to raise a child? In days gone by we knew for sure that this was true indeed!

What is holding Africa back?

What is holding Planet Earth back?

What is holding humanity back?

"Dehumanizing legacy of deprivation." President Thabo Mbeki Inaugural speech June 16-1999

Do you suffer from this dysfunctional imprisonment of the mind?

Its time to heal your own wounds. Nelson Mandela reminded us in 1993 that , "there are countless people who went to jail and aren't bitter at all, because they can see that their sacrifices were not in vain, and the ideas for which we lived and sacrificed are about to come to fruition. And that removes the bitterness from their hearts."

You can't be a servant until you're at peace with who you are. You can pretend to be a servant but its all useless without love. Those you pretend to be helping truly do not want or even need your help because;

"Its the spirit of giving, not the largess of the gift, that matters most." Oprah Winfrey

Saints James further articulates this sentiment;

"Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like a shifting shadow."

Heal your wounds! Go to him who's yoke is easy! Let him teach you and direct you to the ways of tender love. Only then can you be a truthful, trustworthy and loving servant of your master. Hurting people hurt other people thus only deprivation and dysfunction resides in their heart, soul and soul.

When you heal, you able to connect to the spirit of Ubuntu.

"That profound African sense that we are human only through the humanity of other human beings -is not a parochial phenomenon, but has added globally to our common search for a better world." Nelson Mandela

Family can make or break a child. It is the responsibility of every human being on earth to reach out and embrace children who are in dire need. Motherhood and fatherhood goes far beyond DNA. All that matters to a child is love, connectedness and protection.

THE CRADLE OF HUMAN KINDNESS

They are loved from on high thus,

they able to love and embrace one another.

They work together thus, they are able to work with anybody under the sun to do good.

They recognize their power, strengths and weaknesses thus, they can uplift, encourage and empower anybody in the four corners of the world.

They have experienced great joy and pain thus, they are able to be compassionate and loving human beings.

They are loving, educated and humble thus, the grace of God within them allows them to be greater vessels by mere virtue of being alive.

They love one another dearly thus, they easily share their love with others.

They protect one another thus, they can protect the rights of every human being under the moon and the stars.

They have seen darker days as well as days that shone with the magnitude and power of the Most High thus, they are able to be LIGHT BEARERS for humanity at large!

Their laughter brings us joy.

Their tears touch us deeply thus, we bow our heads in prayer to God, because only God and prayer can turn things around.

Their love is so infectious, it makes us flourish. Joy is a great source of inspiration. It affords one a second chance in life, this is the reason Jesus blessed us and said we must rejoice with unspeakable joy.

Their smiles are like beams of light that soften the heart thus, brings us freedom from on high.

May you continue to shine, blossom and expands as grains of sands.

The joy of the Lord is your strength who watches over your comings and goings.

Love,

Babalwa
